The following local speakers have indicated a willingness to give presentations to user groups. Not all speakers are available in your area. We have listed their travel restrictions for your convenience.
We have found that all presentations do not have to necessarily be about computers, software or hardware. Therefore, there are some other speakers listed who discuss other educational topics.
We appreciate your input regarding our listed speakers or any speaker that you may have secured on your own. Please fill out the Presentation Feedback Form on the AZACC Home page regarding a speaker. This information will go to the Local Speaker Advisors so they will know how our speakers are doing or follow up on new ones that you recommend.

system and open source software. We believe it's a viable alternative to

TOPIC: Identification Devices introduces “iD” - a personal electronic identification device that utilizes a custom USB flash drive to store your complete emergency and medical information. The device features an auto-loading “form” which the owner completes to store critical, life-saving information that can be utilized by emergency personnel at the scene of an accident. Detailed information can be entered through the use of the form’s expansion fields.
Information such as medical conditions, allergies, medications, and even DNR and Living Will documents can be stored on the device to ensure that proper care is given to those in need. In addition, the form includes a photo of the owner, and the device itself is easily recognized by police, fire fighters, and EMT members because of the universal medical symbol found on its exterior.
“iD” requires no special software, and can be read using any Windows computer with a USB port (sorry, “iD” will not work on a Mac).
“iD” speaks for you in emergency situations, even when you can’t!

Topic: Enhancing and improving Photographs using Adobe Photoshop Elements 7.
Aleck is not a Company Representative for Adobe Photoshop, but he is a
photographer who uses the program and will give a verbal presentation on how
to improve your photos. He will have samples to show.
For those who would like to have more in-depth lessons, Aleck has compiled a
14 page Users Manual and is willing to come to your club and go through this
manual step by step. It will take 4 to 5 - 1 Hr sessions. The club will need
to purchase Adobe Photoshop (approx. $80.00), have it installed on a club
computer, and have a projector and screen. He will need a minimum of 5
students and a maximum of 20 – 25 depending on the classroom. The Users
Manual will be for sale at the first lesson for $10.00 and a gratuity to
cover his traveling is most graciously accepted at each lesson.
