 About the Club

Our club was formed prior to 1981 and originally included all operating systems. Today we are a PC club only using Windows. Club office phone is (623) 933-8953. Our club membership is restricted to residents of Sun City, which is an age-restricted community; however, guests are welcome to attend presentations. We occupy four rooms with about 3000 sq. ft. These include a hands-on room with 30 student computers; a general purpose room with nine computers dedicated to graphics and the internet; and two lecture rooms seating 40-65 persons. The hands-on and lecture rooms are equipped with powerful teaching computers with projectors and sound systems. Additional equipment at the club includes desktop scanners, dedicated film scanner, photo-quality inkjet printer, color laserjet printer, and a copy machine. Wi-fi is available.

We offer our members ongoing training ranging from the basics of using a computer through advanced training in specialized software--whatever our members are interested in learning. We presently have ten SIGs (Special Interest Groups), including interests ranging from creative and artistic, e-mail and internet, genealogy, flight simulation, investing, and computer animation. Computer repair service is offered to members by appointment. All of our board members, monitors, instructors, and assistants are volunteers.

Formal meetings are held quarterly; however, we are able to host guest presenters at any time subject to availability of a larger meeting room.
